Epson has recently released a new range of inkjet printers and cartridges, which I believe will change the whole dynamics of the inkjet printing market!
Recently Canon had released a new range of low-end PIXMA printers, which no longer require Photo Colour cartridges due to technological improvements in the print heads of these machines, and HP released a new range of 6 ink-tank type cartridges with its new printer range.
Now Epson have gone even better, with the release of a new range of low-end inkjet printers, which produce excellent photo prints with only 4 pigment ink cartridges.
These new cartridges (the Durabrite Ultra range) feature new, improved pigment inks. Epson have managed to improve the colour characteristics of their pigment inks to challenge the bright colours of equivalent dye-based inks that other printer manufacturers use (as do Epson in their 'R' series Photo printers) but unlike the previous range of Durabrite inks these new inks print on normal glossy photo papers and do not require special 'Durabrite' compatible photo paper.
They print fabulous quality photos with all the permanent benefits of pigment ink. This also means that any potential buyer of a low end colour laser printer would now be better off with an Epson Durabrite Ultra printer which gives better print quality at lower cost. Here is the list of New Epson Printers: C67, C87, CX3700, CX4700, CX4100, CX5700
The New Epson Cartridges are as follow: T0621- Hi Capacity Black Ink Cartridge, T0631- Standard Black Ink Cartridge, T0632 - Cyan Ink Cartridge, T0633 - Magenta Ink Cartridge, T0634 - Yellow Ink Cartridge.
Some of these models are already available in Australia and the others are coming soon. Checkout their fabulous print quality!
